Global Wealth Management is proud to sponsor several sporting activities and events in the countries where we have offices.  The reasons are to promote fitness and team spirit within the company and support to the local community. 

We have sponsored football strips for several teams including the Tokyo British Chamber of Commerce Team for 2008 Season and the runner up team in Shanghai World Cup Revenge Tournament in 2007.

But more recently, its all about running !

JinQiao 8k Race & 2k Fun Run - 20th April 2008

Seventeen GWM employees and friends took part in the 2008 JinQiao 8k event on 20th April 2008. 

This event was sponsored by Royal Sun Alliance, Ford, Holiday Inn and City Weekend to name just a few and with 10% of the proceeds going to the Special Olympics charity.

All runners did exceptionally well - especially as it was the first race for the majority of the team ! 

London Marathon Running - Maribeth Davies

We sponsored Maribeth Davies from in the London Marathon on April 13th 2008.  This was her first marathon - check out her finishing times here.  Well done Maribeth !

Maribeth had a personal target to raise GBP 10,000 for  .  

She has raised GBP 4,500 as at 25th April, but will be holding a Boat Party on the Thames to raise an additional GBP 5,000!
